Thanks for being here!
My name is Sam Erb! I’m a Graphic Designer and Email Web Developer based out of Idaho with a passion for all things design and art. I’ve dabbled in professional photography, illustration, logo design, and copywriting. Most recently, I worked in Sales and Design for Memorial/Dedication Plaques.
I’m a solutions-driven designer adept at contributing to highly collaborative work environments, finding creative work-arounds, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
I have proven experience developing consumer-focused print and email products using Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, MJML and Liquid.
During my work on plaques, I became proficient in CorelDraw, which is very similar to Illustrator but just different enough to make it vexing to switch between the two. Another part of my responsibilities was being on the phone lines to take requests, answer questions, and cover all plaque related inquiries. We didn’t have downtime either, so this was nonstop all day interruptions necessitating a strong ability to multitask, a wide array of knowledge on product lines, and the ability to manage client expectations and emotions.
I efficiently built products for desktop and mobile app users over the course of 9+ years, meeting the highest standards for web design, user experience, best practices, and speed. I also single-handedly developed entire base user product libraries and branding guides.
With over 12 years professional design experience, I’d love to see what we can make together!
Fun Facts
I collect antique food and medicine bottles, stuffed animals, enamel pins, and uniquely illustrated versions of Alice in Wonderland.
I will defend the Oxford Comma to my last breath, and beyond, if necessary.
I have a lot of special interests and am a frequent show binger, I bet we’ve got one in common.

When working in the Memorial space, you get a lot of different reactions to grief. Due to the long production time on metalwork products, a delicate and compassionate approach had to be taken in every interaction. Empathy became utmost in these situations, especially if anything went awry during the process. I never once received a complaint despite working on thousands of individual projects with varying degrees of emotional severity, even when hiccups did occur.
